Happy Monday! I hope that everyone had a lovely weekend, especially our American friends who recently celebrated Thanksgiving. A while back I posted some super cute baby shower invites inspired by nesting dolls and autumn. Today I am following up that post with these darling Thank you cards. These Thank you cards correspond with the Baby shower invites, and continue the Nesting doll theme and the vibrant orange and purple palette.

Hope you enjoy these cards and the rest of your Monday!

{ DIY Ornament Roundup 1 }

Since I've been feeling in the Holiday mood lately, getting ready for decorating and filling my to do list with cute DIY Holiday projects from ornaments to stockings I thought it would be nice to end the week with a DIY Ornament Round up. There were so many great ideas out there for ornaments, it was hard to choose so I am sure this won't be my only post about great DIY crafts and ornaments. Making ornaments is really limitless and can be enhanced by your own creativity. I also hope to post some of my own projects soon. Have fun crafting!

{ Felt }

Flipping through my copy of Canadian House and Home (October issue) I came across a great little article about felt. Felt has really been making a come back these days (I remember crafting with it when I was a wee little one). But recently I've found some fantastic tutorials online, showing how to make everything from felted pillows to felted bowls (which are a great idea for Christmas gifts).

I also found out that you can buy designer's felt, industrial felt and crafting felt, a great place to purchase some felt for your next project is the Felt store or Purl soho.

All of these projects look great, I can't wait to start working on them!

Here is a little invitation that I designed for a delightful, and fun loving couple. Their wedding suite included an invitation and a double sided response postcard. The couple was greatly inspired by mid century illustration and wanted their love for this art era to be communicated in their invitation . It was so much fun working on this invitation set!

{ Charley Harper }

I am head over heels for mid century illustration and wanted to share one of my favourite illustrators with you today, Charley Harper. Charley Harper is an American born modernist artist who is best known for his highly stylized wild life prints, book illustrations and posters. Charley Harper was greatly influenced by his family farm. His illustrations are wonderful and make me feel warm and happy, plus his work is a great source of inspiration.
